Darvish, 30, finally made his Dodgers debut against the floundering New York Mets on Friday night, and Los Angeles look incredibly wise for pulling off the deal.

Now that Darvish is wearing Dodger blue, Los Angeles can be extra careful with Clayton Kershaw to avoid bringing him back prematurely considering they have a 14.5 game lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West.
