Did A.J. Burnett’s Wife Block An Angels Trade Due To Fear Of Flying?

I’ve heard of a lot of reasons to veto a trade, but a fear of flying is a new one. A.J Burnett is bound to be dealt fairly soon. The enigmatic New York Yankees pitcher will probably end up in Pittsburgh before it is all said and done. However, Burnett could have been on the West Coast earlier this week.
There was a trade set up between the Angels and the Yankees. Burnett to the Angels and and Bobby Abreu coming to New York. However, Burnett used his no-trade clause on the deal. The speculated reason is that Burnett’s wife has a fear of flying.
I guess you have to look out for your family first.
