5 Los Angeles Clippers Who Should Be on the Trade Block This Offseason

The Los Angeles Clippers are coming off another disappointing end to their season, this time blowing a 3-1 series lead against the Houston Rockets in the second round of the playoffs.

They are severely limited in terms of making any big moves this offseason, but here are five Clippers that should be dangled in trade talks.

Davis will be a free agent this summer, but I see him as a prime sign-and-trade candidate that could fetch some assets for the Clippers.

The Clippers can waive Crawford before June 30 and only owe him $1.5 million of his $5.6 million salary for next season. But I think they would do better to keep him past that point, and then look to move him in a trade once the calendar flips to July.

Hawes played in just eight of the Clippers' 14 playoff games, and he played double-digit minutes in just two of those games. The three years and over $17 million left on his contract ($6 million player option for 2017-18) is an obstacle to a trade, but moving Hawes would give the Clippers some breathing room under the salary cap.

2. SG J.J. Redick

Redick has value as three-point marksman, when he's going well in that area, but he adds little else and the Clippers need more from their wing players. With two years and what seems like reasonable money (around $14 million) left on his contract, it would not be surprising to see multiple teams have interest in trading for Redick this summer.

Doc Rivers has expressed desire to keep the Clippers' core group together, but something is clearly not working. Making a bold move involving the now 30-year old Paul may be just the thing to shake things up, while likely adding some much-needed depth to the roster.

Clippers' Austin Rivers Brutally Rejected By Rim On Dunk Attempt

There's always something that can be learned from making a mistake. For Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers, it's important he understands he mustn't ever attempt to dunk a basketball in an NBA game ever again after this massive rim rejection. I'm sure his father, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, will have a talk with him about this unfortunate scenario.

LeBron James Loses His Mind After Kyrie Irving Nails Epic Three

The Cleveland Cavaliers made mincemeat out of the Los Angeles Clippers in their own building on Sunday, defeating Doc Rivers' bunch by a score of 114-90. Along the way, Kyrie Irving nailed an incredibly difficult three with a hand in his face and ultimately fell to the hardwood. Teammate LeBron James couldn't believe it and lost his ever-loving mind afterward.

The Los Angeles Clippers are not on the level of San Antonio or Golden State, but those two teams are in a league of their own. Jeff Van Gundy Wants NBA Dance Teams To Quit Smiling

During Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, ESPN broadcaster Jeff Van Gundy took exception to the fact that the Clippers dance team was smiling during its routine despite Los Angeles trailing by a significant amount. Well, in what can be described as a bit of poetic justice, the Clippers ended up pulling off an epic comeback win, and Van Gundy was put in his place.

Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins Chucks Ball At Chris Paul

DeMarcus Cousins didn't do anything wrong on this play, per se, but he undoubtedly made sure to put some extra mustard on the toss. I mean, look at his face! Chris Paul handled it correctly by not turning it into a big thing, but he couldn't have been incredibly pleased.
