A pair of teams on the NCAA Tournament bubble meet on Tuesday night when the LSU Tigers visit the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station, Texas.

LSU beat the Tennessee Volunteers 73-55 on Saturday to move to 18-7 overall and 7-5 in the SEC. LSU has lost three of its last five games, but the Tigers appear to still be in the NCAA Tournament field at this point. An impressive win on the road against Texas A&M could certainly boost the profile of head coach Johnny Jones and his team.

The Tigers are paced by the inside tandem of Jordan Mickey and Jarell Martin. Mickey averages 17.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game. He is among the favorites for SEC Player of the Year.

Martin averages 15.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Shooting guard Keith Hornsby averages 12.8 points per game, while point guard Tim Quarterman averages 11.9 points per outing.

Texas A&M beat the Florida Gators 63-62 on Saturday to move to 17-7 overall and 8-4 in league play. The Aggies have won eight of their last 10 games since losing in double overtime to the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in early January.

Junior guard Danuel House leads Texas A&M in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game. Junior guard Jalen Jones scores 13.7 points per game for head coach Billy Kennedy and the Aggies.

Texas A&M has lost at home only twice this season, and that home court advantage will help them in this game. If the Aggies can control the LSU big men, they should be able to pull out a win.

Final score prediction: Texas A&M 67, LSU 66
