The Iowa State Cyclones will be under the direction of a new coach in 2016, but the expectations for the team will not change. Iowa State, with new head coach Steve Prohm, will be expected to contend for the Big 12 title and, maybe, the Final Four. Here's a look at who could be starting for Iowa State in the 2015-16 season.

The most obvious choice to start next season is the Cyclones' leading scorer from last season. Niang averaged 15.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and will be in the running for Big 12 Player of the Year in 2016.

4. Forward - Abdel Nader

Nader played in 32 games last year, averaging 5.8 points per contest. If he can rebound and play solid defense, he could play an important role for Iowa State next season.

3. Center - Jameel McKay

Last season's leading rebounder for the Cyclones will patrol the middle for Iowa State again next year. McKay is a shot-blocking presence who will keep opponents out of the paint.

2. Guard - Naz Long

Long averaged 10.1 points per game last season. Prohm would love to see more scoring from the senior-to-be in 2016. Adding Long as a scoring threat will make Iowa State a little harder to defend.

1. Guard - Monte Morris

Morris does it all for Iowa State. He led the team in assists last season (5.2 per game) and was second in scoring (11.9 points per game). Look for big things from him in 2016.
