2016 NCAA Tournament: All 6-Foot And Under Team

The 2016 NCAA tournament is down to the Final Four now, as Oklahoma, Villanova, Syracuse and North Carolina will head to Houston.

Looking at the entire tournament, here is my all “6-foot and under” team, of course comprised of players who stand at 6 feet tall or less.

Angel Rodriguez, Miami

The Hurricanes' senior point guard averaged 21.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game during the team's run to the Sweet 16, highlighted by a 28-point effort against Wichita State in the Round of 32. He did have a 17:14 assist-to-turnover ratio in Miami's three games, but Rodriguez easily belongs on this list.

Jordan Woodard, Oklahoma

Woodard is averaging 16.8 points per game during Oklahoma's Final Four run, with multiple three-point makes and just one turnover in three of the four games. Buddy Hield is obviously the star for the Sooners, but Woodard has been a key, experienced part of the equation.

Tyler Ulis, Kentucky

Kentucky was a popular pick to make a deep run as a bit of a lower seed, but that did not happen. Though he fouled out, Ulis did his part in a Round of 32 loss to Indiana (27 points, three assists and two steals; 3-for-6 from three-point range).

Joel Berry, North Carolina

Berry has been a solid cog in the Tar Heels' Final Four run, scoring at least 11 points in all four games (13.5 points per game) while averaging 4.0 assists (13 total over the last two games) and 3.5 rebounds per game. Look for him to be a big X-factor in Houston

Frank Mason III, Kansas

Mason went just 2-for-14 from beyond the arc in four tournament games for the Jayhawks, but he was otherwise productive (11.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game) and had 16 points in an Elite Eight loss to Villanova.

The Tar Heels have gotten the best of the Orange twice this year including spoiling head coach Jim Boeheim's return early in the season. This time they meet in the Final Four in Houston and the previous two matchups will be long forgotten for each team. Cuse is this season's Cinderella as a 10th seed and Carolina is a 1 seed.
