The Miami Dolphins had another mediocre season in 2014, finishing 8-8 and missing the playoffs. Another season without a postseason berth in 2015 could bring some big changes in the organization.

With the 2015 NFL Draft set to kickoff Thursday night, here are five last-minute rumors involving the Dolphins.

With Dion Jordan's future with the team in doubt, and their two starting defensive ends either over 30 (Cameron Wake) or entering the final year of their contract (Olivier Vernon), the Dolphins may look to add a defensive end at some point in the draft.

Dolphins vice president Mike Tannenbaum said recently that the team is an "equal opportunity trader", so a move up or down can't be ruled out.

The Dolphins have been tied to Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker with their first-round pick in a lot of mock drafts, and they've reportedly done plenty of due diligence up and down the pre-draft rankings at the position.

Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald suggested that Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey has taken risks on players with character questions in the past. That means players like Dorial Green-Beckham, Randy Gregory, Marcus Peters and Jalen Collins likely remain on Miami's draft board.

Running back is not a big need, but Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald reported that the Dolphins "covet" Gurley. They may be left hoping he somehow falls to No. 14 though, assuming the buzz attached to Gurley as a potential top-10 pick can be believed. But all things considered, if the Dolphins want Gurley badly enough a trade up to get him can't be ruled out.
