A new coaching staff brought new life to the Minnesota Vikings last season, and hope for the future is high heading into the 2015 campaign.

The Vikings will report to Mankato, Minnesota for training camp in a little over a month, and here are five early predictions for their upcoming season.

5. LB Eric Kendricks Will Be Defensive Rookie of the Year

Kendricks will have every chance to fill a prominent role for the Vikings right out of the gate, and I think he'll step up and be the league's top defensive rookie.

4. Kyle Rudolph Will Catch 10 Touchdowns

Offensive coordinator Norv Turner has a great history with tight ends, but injuries prevented Rudolph from reaping the fruits of that last season. This is the year it will happen, and Rudolph is in line for a career year.

3. CB Xavier Rhodes Will Be a Pro Bowler

Rhodes made significant progress in 2014, finishing tied for fourth in the league with 18 pass deflections. The next step is putting together 16 games at the level he displayed late last season, along with a few more interceptions, and I expect Rhodes to do just that and earn his first Pro Bowl nod.

Better pass protection and better skill position talent around him, plus more time in Norv Turner's offense, will bring a big year for Bridgewater in his first full season as a starter.

I see a decline coming for Peterson this year, with injuries to help diminish his numbers and keep him out of a few games.
