31. EverBank Field - Jacksonville Jaguars
Credit: Getty Images
Generally, the Jaguars fail to get their fans excited about much and that's true for their stadium as well. They put in various small pools in the stadium, which might be nice for some, but seemed more like a joke to most. Until the product on the field improves, there isn't going to be a fun atmosphere in Jacksonville.

30. Nissan Stadium - Tennessee Titans

The city of Nashville is one of the nicest in the country, but their football stadium certainly isn't in the upper echelon. It's relatively average in every respect and since the team hasn't been great in a long time, the atmosphere has been luke warm lately. That doesn't make for a very exciting experience.

29. Sun Life Stadium - Miami Dolphins

Not playing on the same field as the Marlins is a good first step for the Dolphins, but their new stadium still doesn't seem like it's above average in any respect. With the team seemingly more and more willing to spend money on and off the field, perhaps improvements will be made to this stadium before too long.

28. Ford Field - Detroit Lions

There are some domes that enhance the atmosphere, but Ford Field isn't one of them. The facility is in desperate need of an upgrade and the actual turf itself appears outdated. If the Lions would start winning games, maybe that would make it better, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon.

27. Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - St. Louis Rams

Nothing against the Rams as their new stadium could be #1 when their new stadium is done, but they're in a college stadium currently albeit a pretty good one.

26. University of Phoenix Stadium - Arizona Cardinals

As far as retractable-roof stadiums go, the Cardinals' is pretty good, but that type of stadium doesn't seem to work as well in football as it does in baseball. Nonetheless, this stadium has been deemed solid enough to host a Super Bowl.

25. O.co Coliseum - Oakland Raiders

At one point, the Oakland Coliseum still had its charm, but that is long gone. The atmosphere there is still great because of dedicated Raider Nation, but that stadium itself is practically falling apart. There's a reason the Raiders might move soon.

24. Qualcomm Stadium - San Diego Chargers

This is another stadium where the weather is usually nice, but everything else usually isn't. There isn't much to complain about when watching anything outside in San Diego, but it just doesn't seem like a traditional football stadium atmosphere. As such, they might move to L.A. before too long.

23. FirstEnergy Stadium - Cleveland Browns

The Browns' game-day atmosphere is actually underrated, but it's still in the bottom half of the league, all things considered. Sure, the Dog Pound is a cool feature, but other than that, it doesn't have anything special. That includes the football team there.

22. Raymond James Stadium - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Credit: David Manning, USA Today Sports
The Buccaneers have been pretty unwatchable the last few seasons, but that doesn't keep fans from filing into their nice stadium. It's a pretty basic field, so it doesn't rank among the best in the league, but it still can look pretty gorgeous on a bright, sunny Tampa Bay afternoon.

21. MetLife Stadium - New York Jets and New York Giants

MetLife Stadium houses two teams: the Jets and Giants. It really isn't anything special other than the fact it can pack a lot of New Yorkers into it. Since such high-profile teams play there, it appears better than it actually is. In reality, it's a very average stadium.

20. NRG Stadium - Houston Texans

Everything's bigger in Texas and, boy, is NRG Stadium big. That part of the stadium is impressive, but everything else is just decent. Basically, it's a poor man's Cowboy Stadium. Given the fact that the team hasn't been very good lately, it also doesn't have a great atmosphere.

19. Bank of America Stadium - Carolina Panthers
Credit: Getty Images
The Panthers are one of three remaining undefeated teams in the NFL and they've done it by dominating on their home field. Certainly, they get one of the best home-field advantages in the league, but as far as their stadium goes, it's just average. Of course, the weather generally cooperates, so that makes it a little more bearable.

18. M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore tends to have very nice sports facilities for their pro sports teams and their football stadium is no different. It isn't anything super special, but the atmosphere gets pretty crazy at times. They haven't had much to cheer about this season, but it's still a really nice venue for late-season AFC North matchups.

17. Levi's Stadium - San Francisco 49ers
Credit: Getty Images
The 49ers just got a brand new stadium in 2014 and now their entire team has gone down the drain. Ownership better hope the on-field product gets better quickly or they're going to have trouble filling up the stadium. As far as the actual stadium goes, it's nice. It has a good location and obviously still has that "new feel" since it's only in its second season.

16. Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been a solid team for the last several years and their fans have enjoyed watching them win plenty of games at Paul Brown Stadium. It's one of the better modern stadiums in the game and it's packed almost every Sunday. It's definitely a game-day experience most people should give a try.

15. Georgia Dome - Atlanta Falcons
Credit: Getty Images
There's a reason the Georgia Dome hosts so many other sporting events like the SEC Championship game: it's among the best in the country. Really, it's all about the atmosphere here as it gets really loud. In terms of the actual beauty of the stadium, it's not all that great.

14. Gillette Stadium - New England Patriots

The best team over the past decade has played every home game at Gillette Stadium and made opponents hate playing there. Foxboro has become a fixture of playoff football, which certainly makes it more appealing. It's among the nicest stadiums in the league, so the great atmosphere is the cherry on top.

13. Lincoln Financial Field - Philadelphia Eagles

Winter football wouldn't be complete without an NFC East clash at Lincoln Financial Field between the Eagles and one of their divisional foes. Their field is part of one of the greatest sports complexes in the country, which makes it that much better overall.

12. Lucas Oil Stadium - Indianapolis Colts

One of the newer stadiums in the league, Lucas Oil Stadium is state of the art. It is a mammoth of a stadium and the field is still in great condition as well. With how great the Colts have been over the last decade, the transition into the new stadium has been a smooth one. It really is one of the better stadiums in the league.

11. Ralph Wilson Stadium - Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills fans are among the most underrated in football and their stadium is as well. The atmosphere there is unbelievable and the amenities are pretty great as well. Even though the team hasn't been competitive in a long time, this remains one of the best places to take in an NFL game.

10. Mile High Stadium - Denver Broncos

Denver has one of the most unique atmospheres in football where the air is thinner. Many memorable games have been played at Mile High Stadium and many more will in the future. Fans are voracious as any in Denver and that makes the atmosphere there all the better.

9. AT&T Stadium - Dallas Cowboys
Credit: Getty Images
AT&T Stadium is a modern marvel of architecture and that alone makes it one of the best stadiums in the league. There are more seats than the eye can see and that must make it an intimidating place to play. Still, though, there are other more historic stadiums that have a better atmosphere.

8. Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans Saints
Credit: Getty Images
There might not be a better overall atmosphere in the NFL than the Superdome in New Orleans. It doesn't seem to be as big of an advantage nowadays, but this place used to be an impossible place to play for visiting teams. Fans get so loud that opposing players just hear ringing. Now that's what you want when you go to an NFL game.

7. CenturyLink Field - Seattle Seahawks

There's no doubt that the atmosphere in Seattle makes it one of the best stadiums in the league. The facilities are great as well, which is why the stadium is ranked in the top six. As long as the Seahawks keep winning, this will continue to be one of the best experiences and stadiums in the game.

6. FedEx Field - Washington Redskins

The Redskins haven't gotten things right on or off the field much lately, but their stadium is something they did get right. It's among the best in the league, especially since fans in the nation's capital are so loyal. If you go to a game here, expect for the place to be rocking within seconds of kickoff.

5. Soldier Field - Chicago Bears

The Bears are among the most historic franchises in football and Soldier Field is among the most historic stadiums in the game. Chicago used to play its home games at Wrigley Field, but switched to their current home in 1971. Since then, they've steadily upgraded the stadium and made it more modern. That way, you can still feel the history of the old stadium, while watching a game in a contemporary setting.

4. Heinz Field - Pittsburgh Steelers

There aren't many things more hard-nosed than a Steelers defense stuffing the opposition with Terrible Towels waving in the stands at Heinz Field. There's just something about the environment there that seems special. The team has won more Super Bowls than any other franchise, giving them historic legitimacy and they also have some of the greatest fans in the league. Going to Heinz Field should definitely be on every NFL fan's bucket list.

3. Lambeau Field - Green Bay Packers

The Packers might be the only team that can rival the Bears in terms of history and their stadium is even more historic. This football relic has been around since 1957 when it was known as City Stadium. Since this stadium has opened, the team, the league and the game of football itself has changed so much. There's something about that, which makes this stadium more appealing than almost any other.

2. Arrowhead Stadium - Kansas City Chiefs

When you're factoring in atmosphere, facilities and everything else that goes into assessing an NFL stadium, nothing compares to Arrowhead Stadium. The fans in Kansas City are louder than any in the league and the stadium is part of a great sports complex, located right across the street from the Royals' Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City should be proud because they have the nicest stadium in the NFL.

Fans get to be right on top of the action in a state-of-the-art new facility with a fantasy football lounge, including couches, five of the world's largest hinged doors, and a clear roof that makes it seem outside but keep fans cozy. $1.3 billion can obviously get you a lot of bells and whistles!
