2016 NFL Mock Draft: First Round, Week 12

Paxton Lynch Memphis — The 2015 college football regular season is nearing an end, with rivalry games tied to some sort of trophy making up most of what remains.

As prospects try to maintain, or increase, their draft stock, here is your full first round NFL mock draft for Week 12. The New England Patriots won't have a first-round pick in 2016, as part of their "DeflateGate" penalty.

As prospects try to maintain, or increase, their draft stock, here is your full first round NFL mock draft for Week 12. The New England Patriots won't have a first-round pick in 2016, as part of their "DeflateGate" penalty.

1. San Diego Chargers: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Mississippi

The Chargers' offensive line has been hampered by injuries all season. Drafting Tunsil would be a big step toward fixing the situation, and he's a bookend left tackle right away.

2. Tennessee Titans: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

Tennessee needs help up and down their roster, so multiple options are viable. Taking the best player available is easy here though, and Bosa is that.

3. Cleveland Browns: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

I've been slow to anoint Lynch as a top draft prospect. But the Browns need a quarterback of the future, and a likely new general manager will have a hard time not taking him.

4. Baltimore Ravens: Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

The Ravens won in Week 11, and by the end of the season they could have a higher pick than this. But Hargreaves would address their No. 1 need, and he's an easy pick here.

5. Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

Elliott all but officially declared for the draft after last Saturday's loss to Michigan State. The Cowboys need a running back, and Elliott's all-around skills would put him position to make an immediate impact.

The 49ers need to find a quarterback of the future. Goff could start immediately, and having gone to college nearby should drive fan interest.

7. Detroit Lions: Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Mississippi

If they keep winning, the Lions are in danger of falling out of the top-10. Nkemdiche may not fall this far, but Detroit would be happy to take him and make him the centerpiece of their defensive line.

8. Miami Dolphins: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

The Dolphins need an upgrade at multiple offensive line spots. Stanley is a potential immediate starter, and a solid fit even if he's not a particularly exciting pick.

9. Oakland Raiders: Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State

The Raiders are building a solid group defensively, but the secondary has been an issue this year. Ramsey is arguably the best player available here, and he also happens to be a cornerback that fits a top need for Oakland.

10. St. Louis Rams: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi

The Rams have multiple needs on the offensive side of the ball, but wide receiver still stands out. Treadwell might be the best receiver in this year's draft class, so St. Louis should not overthink it here.

11. Philadelphia Eagles: Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame

The Eagles' defense has turned into a mess, and they need a talent influx across the board. Smith is a versatile edge rusher with difference-making ability, and he's quite possibly the best player available at this point.

12. New Orleans Saints: Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia

The Saints need a ton of help defensively, and there are plenty of suitable options here. But I'm going with Floyd, who can make an immediate impact and demand attention from opposing offenses.

13. Chicago Bears: Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State

Chicago could use a left tackle. Decker could step right in and lock down that spot for years to come.

14. Jacksonville Jaguars: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Linebacker is not necessarily a major need for Jacksonville, but adding a talent like Jack is hard to pass up.

15. Washington Redskins: DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

I had the Redskins taking Buckner one pick later in last week's mock, and I've got them staying with him here.

16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

Upgrading Jameis Winston's pass protection should be an offseason priority for Tampa Bay. Conklin is a polished prospect that can step right in at left tackle.

17. New York Jets: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State

The Jets need a legit pass rusher off the edge to go with a talent-laden defensive line. Ogbah would probably have to transition from 4-3 defensive end to 3-4 outside linebacker to be a perfect fit for the Jets, but I'm betting he can do it and make an instant impact.

18. Seattle Seahawks: Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M

The Seahawks have to make their offensive line an offseason priority. Ifedi can step right in and start, and his ability to play tackle or guard has to appeal to Seattle.

19. Houston Texans: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State

Cook's recent shoulder injury will surely get the attention of NFL doctors during the pre-draft process, and it may lead to him falling a bit if there is any lingering concern. The Texans will be glad to take Cook here, and perhaps install him as their starter under center right away.

20. Buffalo Bills: Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

The Bills have all the pieces of a good defense, besides a linebacker that can be an impact player in all facets. Ragland is that type of every-down player, so he's a nice fit.

21. Kansas City Chiefs: Vadal Alexander, OT/OG, LSU

The Chiefs are on the upswing with a recent winning streak, but offensive line is still a major need. Alexander's size, talent and versatility make him a great choice here.

22. Atlanta Falcons: Adolphus Washington, DL, Ohio State

Head coach Dan Quinn has helped improve Atlanta's defense this year, but they still need more talent on that side of the ball. Washington is versatile with nice upside, so he's a nice fit for the Falcons.

Alexander has become one of the top cornerbacks in the country this year. If he declares early for the draft, the Steelers should jump at the chance to draft him.

24. Minnesota Vikings: Su'a Cravens, S/LB, USC

The Vikings have a clear need for a safety to pair with Harrison Smith. Cravens could also play some linebacker, and Mike Zimmer would surely love him as versatile piece for his defense.

The Giants have just 12 sacks so far this season, so adding to their pass rush has to be a top offseason priority. Calhoun could step right into a starting spot, and be an impact player against the run as well.

With the best offensive linemen off the board here, the Colts move toward cornerback as a potential free agency-thinned need. White adds value as a punt returner as well.

27. Green Bay Packers: A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama

The Packers' run defense has done well over the last couple games, but defensive line is still a need. Robinson may not fall this far next spring, but the way this first round has gone Green Bay will nab him here without question.

Lawson falls this far not due to his own talent, but a lot of teams addressing other need areas in the first round. He's a fit for Arizona, and an easy pick as the best player available here.

Denver needs to upgrade their situation at offensive tackle, no matter who is under center next season. Drango is a solid, if unspectacular, pick here.

30. Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

If Doctson returns for TCU's bowl game, any concern over his wrist injury should be set aside. The Bengals need a wide receiver, and as long as Doctson checks out medically he has the potential to make an immediate impact.

Relying on Jerricho Cotchery and Ted Ginn Jr. in prominent roles is not a good plan for Carolina, so wide receiver stands out as a need. Coleman would be an intriguing pass catcher to pair with Kelvin Benjamin next year.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is quite possibly the most dominant player at his position in NFL history. That being said, he also loves to enjoy a good time off the field and he tried to capture what it's like to be 'Gronk' in his first post on his new Instagram account.
