2016 NFL Mock Draft: First Round, Week 16

Robert Nkemdiche — With bowl games getting going this week, a lot of top NFL draft prospects will be on display in their final college games.

Remember, the New England Patriots don't have a first-round pick next year, as part of their Deflategate penalty, but here is your first round mock draft for Week 16.

1. Tennessee Titans: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Mississippi

The Titans need upgrades at multiple spots, and improving the talent around Marcus Mariota should be a priority. Drafting Tunsil and plugging him at left tackle would accomplish that.

2. Cleveland Browns: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

The Browns have been bad against the run this year. While a quarterback could easily be the choice here, I've got them taking Bosa and not thinking twice.

3. Baltimore Ravens: Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State

Baltimore needs all the help it can get defensively, especially in the secondary. Ramsey is versatile, productive and talented, so he's a great fit.

4. San Diego Chargers: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida

The Chargers could use more talent in a lot of areas. Hargreaves looks like the best player available here, and he and Jason Verrett could form a very good cornerback duo for years to come.

Smith might be the most talented defensive player in this draft, and the Cowboys could use a linebacker with youth and upside. The fit is clear.

6. San Francisco 49ers: Jared Goff, QB, California

The 49ers need more talent everywhere, but a turnaround has to start with a quarterback as the centerpiece. Goff might be the most pro-ready signal-caller in the 2016 draft class, in all aspects, so he's a good place to start a rebuild.

Stanley could easily be off the board at this point come next spring, but right now the Dolphins will be glad to take him and plug him right in as a starter.

Nkemdiche's recent off-field incident may hurt his draft stock, but I still see him as a top-10 pick. The Jaguars will stop his brief fall here.

Defense is a broad-based need for the Saints looking toward next season. Jack missed most of this season, but under the assumption of full health he's one of the top linebackers in the 2016 class.

10. Chicago Bears: Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia

The Bears' defense has been better this year, but they need a dynamic edge rusher badly. Floyd fits that need well.

11. Detroit Lions: DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

The Lions could use help across their defense. Buckner and Ziggy Ansah would be a daunting defensive end tandem going forward.

Decker is surely not an exciting pick, but he can immediately help Tampa Bay's offensive line.

13. New York Giants: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State

The Giants arguably have the worst defense in the NFL, outside of New Orleans. They need pass rush help in particular, and Ogbah is a fantastic fit.

14. Oakland Raiders: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

Secondary is a major weakness for the Raiders. Alexander should declare for the draft, and he's the top cornerback available at this point.

15. Philadelphia Eagles: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

Lynch could be the first quarterback drafted next spring, but I've got him falling a bit. Chip Kelly could secure his quarterback of the future.

16. Buffalo Bills: Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

The Bills need help at linebacker, and Ragland can step right in and start as an immediate difference maker.

17. Indianapolis Colts: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

The Colts need to bolster their offensive line. Conklin is a solid, pro-ready prospect who can start right away.

18. St. Louis Rams: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State

The Rams need to secure a potential quarterback of the future at some point in the 2016 draft. Cook falls to them here, so they swoop in and take him.

19. Atlanta Falcons: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson

The Falcons drafted Vic Beasley in 2015, and I've got them going back to the Clemson well by drafting Lawson here.

20. New York Jets: Noah Spence, OLB/DE, Eastern Kentucky

Spence appears to be past the issues that led to his dismissal from Ohio State. The Jets need an edge rusher very much, so any remaining risk attached to Spence could be worth it for them.

21. Minnesota Vikings: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi

The Vikings need a legit No. 1 wide receiver fairly badly. Treadwell is possibly the best player at that position in the 2016 class, so Minnesota gets a bit of a gift when he falls here.

The Seahawks could use another capable cornerback for the spot opposite Richard Sherman. White is well-rounded enough to be an immediate contributor.

23. Kansas City Chiefs: Su'a Cravens, S, USC

Safety is not really a big need for Kansas City, outside of depth perhaps, but a talent like Cravens can't be passed up.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Desmond King, CB, Iowa

King won the 2015 Jim Thorpe Award, given to the country's top defensive back, after leading Power-Five conference players with eight interceptions. He also adds value as a kickoff and punt returner, so assuming he declares for the draft the Steelers will be glad to have him.

25. Washington Redskins: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech

The Redskins have a need at cornerback. A knee issue ended Fuller's 2015 campaign early, but assuming full health he is a possible first-round pick.

26. Houston Texans: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

Arian Foster's age (29) and durability concerns make him a potential roster cut, so adding a running back could be a draft priority. Elliott can step right in as a every-down workhorse.

27. Green Bay Packers: Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama

If B.J. Raji is not brought back, the Packers would be in the market for a nose tackle. Reed is an interior anchor, with a great grade against the run from Pro Football Focus this year (+37.1).

Denver needs serious offensive line help, and that should be their No. 1 offseason priority. Alexander could play tackle or guard at the next level, so he's a nice fit.

Doctson's wrist injury will keep him out of the Alamo Bowl, but he is still a potential first-round pick. The Bengals could use reinforcements at wide receiver, and Doctson can start immediately opposite A.J. Green.

30. Arizona Cardinals: Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State

Calhoun could be considered a bit of a defensive end/outside linebacker tweener, but the Cardinals need a pass rusher on the edge pretty badly and he fits the bill.

31. Carolina Panthers: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

Carolina could use another weapon for Cam Newton, and Coleman's downfield speed makes him an intriguing option.
