As time ticked down in the final minute, it appeared as if the first two goals would be meaningless. Then, with just 15 seconds remaining, center Rickard Rakell evened things up amid mass chaos in front of Edmonton’s net.

Neither team scored during an anxiety-laden first overtime. Then, after right around seven minutes of scoreless play in the second overtime, Corey Perry scored a phenomenal game-winner to the delight of the Honda Center faithful, who went absolutely insane.
