2012 Fantasy Football Busts: Tennessee Titans Wide Receiver Kenny Britt

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has put up some pretty impressive numbers throughout his three-year career in the NFL–even though he only played in three games during the 2011 season. However, Britt has also seen his fair-share of troubles on and off the field over the last three years since joining the NFL–which is why he should be considered one of the top 2012 Fantasy Football Busts for this upcoming season.

Not only is Britt coming off his third knee surgery, but he received a DUI this offseason and has been involved with eight incidents involving police since joining the Titans in 2009. There’s no question Britt has the potential to be one of the league’s most talented wide receivers, but his history of trouble makes him a huge risk–which is why fantasy owners are avoiding him for the upcoming season.

With his latest DUI incident, nobody even knows whether or not Britt will be available for the start of the 2012 season. Plus, Britt has been making headlines this past week after uploading a photo to Instagram of a fine he received from the Titans for missing a rehab session–so that doesn’t help his case much at all.

When taking everything into consideration, Britt is one of the wide receives to avoid for the upcoming season from a fantasy perspective. It’s always disappointing to see good talent go to waste because of inappropriate behavior and unfortunately for Tennessee–that’s exactly the case when it comes to Britt.

In other words–be sure to avoid him at all costs.
