First round drama in game 1
The NBA markets playoff drama every year. They should, because every year the playoffs seem like a day time soap opera for sports fans. This year the drama started in many of the opening games in plenty of the first round series. The biggest event is the Boston Celtic’s Kevin Garnett getting banned from game two in his team’s series against the Miami Heat. In game one, teammate Paul Pierce fell to the court and laid in pain. Miami Heat’s Quentin Richardson stood over him and said some words. With 40 seconds left in the game, Garnett came to protect Pierce, elbowing Richardson in the face. KG is not allowed to enter the arena for game two and Richardson has to pay a $25,000 fine.
