The Philadelphia Phillies jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and never looked back as they cruised on to an easy 8-3 win over the Braves in Atlanta tonight. The 8-3 win gave the Phillies a 2-1 series win over the Braves in the three-game series between the two NL East rivals. Jamie Moyer (2-1) pitched six strong innings to get the win for Philadelphia, allowing just four hits and two runs (no earned runs) in six innings pitched, while Derek Lowe (3-1) was roughed up for six hits and five runs (four earned) in five innings and took the loss for Atlanta.
