The Minnesota Vikings have drafted a new closer for games and his name is Toby Gerhart. The former Stanford Cardinal, rushed for 42 touchdowns in the past two seasons and is a bruising back at 6′0″ 230 pounds. Minnesota now has a combination of Adrian Peterson and Mike Alstott in the backfield. When did Toby Gerhart become Mike Alstott? So he’s a big white power runner and that makes him Alstott? Alstott played Fullback and Gerhart has not and will not play Fullback. People need to advance into the 21st century. Just because Gerhart is white doesn’t mean all he should be compared only to is other white players.
