Red Sox Break Out the Bats in Win Over Halos

The Boston Red Sox found themselves in an offensive outburst tonight against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  The Red Sox put up 17 runs on 20 hits and 1 error.  They had 11 extra base hits with Adrian Beltre and Bill Hall going deep for the first time this season.  The Red Sox have been looking for some offense as of late but haven’t found it like they did tonight against the Angels starter Joe Saunders. Terry Francona’s club had no trouble finding offense tonight as they torched the Angels for 17 runs on 4 home runs.  The first one coming off the bat of Kevin Youkilis to start the second inning, while Bill Hall and Adrian Beltre went yard for the first time all season. Dustin Pedroia was without a hit in his first 4 at bats...
