Versteeg lifts Hawks to crucial win
(No Rants)The series is all tied up. The Blackhawks evened the Western Conference Finals at one game apiece with a 4-2 in over the Canucks. Vancouver dominated the early part of the game. They scored twice in the first five minutes of the game, and appeared to be in full control. Just two days after the Canucks destroyed the Blackhawks, panic began to set in at the United Center. Lucky for the Hawks, they were able to get it together. Brent Seabrook eased the crowd with a goal off a rebound, which made it a 2-1 game. Antti Niemi settled in after his slow start. The rookie goalie stopped 24 of 26 shots in the win. More importantly, he kept his team in the game after his horrendous start. The Canucks entered the second intermission...
