Raiders continue busy day with another signing
(No Rants)The Oakland Raiders have had a busy day. First releasing QB JaMarcus Russell and now according to the team website, they have signed another running back. Last week the Raiders brought in Michael Bennett work a workout and must have liked what they saw because he was signed this afternoon. Bennett is entering his 10th season in the league and will be 32 when the regular season starts but he has been used little in the past few years with 127 carries in the past 4 seasons. The Wisconsin product is 5′9″ 207 pounds and has good straight-line speed and is a good receiver out of the backfield. Bennett has played for Minnesota, Kansas City, Tampa Bay and San Diego.
