Ellis the next to leave?
(No Rants)New York Jets veteran DE Shaun Ellis might just be the next aging Jet to leave the premises. Various media reports suggest that the Jets may have initiated trade talks for Ellis from any interested team. According to ESPN, there is a possibility that Ellis was offered during the leagues draft three weeks ago. The Jets are seemingly on a youth movement while trying to make a push for the Super Bowl this season. Of course RB Thomas Jones and OG Alan Faneca have moved on, both were over 30. Ellis will turn 33 during the season this year. Of course, Ellis is an affordable option for rotational depth for the Jets this season since his contract is only worth 3.35 million dollars and if the Jets are seriously making a push for the Super Bowl this season,...
