(No Rants)Troy Glaus blasted a two-run homer and Kris Medlen and 3 Atlanta relievers combined on a five-hitter as the Braves beat the New York Mets 3-2 on Tuesday night in Atlanta. The two-run blast by Glaus gave the Braves an early 2-0 lead and Atlanta never trailed in the game, riding the strong pitching of Kris Medlen, Peter Moylan, Takashi Saito, and Billy Wagner to the 3-2 win. The Braves didn’t put the game away until the bottom of the ninth inning, though, when an infield single by Melky Cabrera and a throwing error by Mets’ third baseman David Wright combined to allow the game-winning run to score, giving Atlanta a dramatic walk-off win.
