(No Rants)Tim Hudson pitched eight shutout innings and Jason Heyward blasted his ninth homer of the season as the Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-0 on Friday night at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Hudson pitched a gem of a game, tossing eight shutout innings of three-hit ball at the Pirates as he ran his record to 5-1 and lowered his season ERA to 2.09. And Huddy had plenty of run support as the Braves jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and cruised on the 7-0 win as they pounded Pirates starter Ross Ohlendorf for seven hits and six runs in his 3 and 2/3 innings pitched.
