Rays squeezed in Houston 2-1
(No Rants)The Tampa Bay Rays dropped a rare road game last night 2-1 to the Houston Astros in what I call the Battle of Big Juice. It’s Minute Maid Park against Tropicana field. It’s calcium enriched versus no pulp. It’s two teams heading in opposite directions and there was no reason for the loss last night in Houston. For the third straight game, the Rays jumped out first, leading 1-0 after the first inning. RF Ben Zobrist continued his hot hitting finishing the game 3-5 with two doubles. Over the past week, Zorilla has been hitting .435, 2 2B’s, 1HR, 5 RBI’s and 3 SB’s. Equally impressive has been infielder Reid Brignac who also finished with 2 doubles.
