(No Rants)The Tampa Bay Rays rallied in the 9th inning for the second straight night to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays. Tampa scored 6 in the top of the 9th on the back of LF Carl Crawford’s grand slam, a 409 foot blast to right field. Tampa’s bats returned Wednesday night as they collected 12 hits, and an 8 of the members of the starting lineup collected at least 1 hit. David Price put his troubles in the past two starts behind him with a masterful performance pitching 8 strong innings and recorded his 8th win of the season. Tonight, the Rays will get a much needed night off as they get set to take on the Texas Rangers starting Friday night.
