The New Orleans Saints head into 2010 not only as the defending Super Bowl Champions, but they are now the defending team on the Madden 2011 video game based on offensive ranking. In the Madden 2010 version, the Saints had an offensive rating of 94, and though in the 2011 version of the game their rating dropped 2 points, the Saints again managed to best the Indianapolis Colts. Of course this isn’t the first mention of the Saints and Madden 2011. Earlier in the year, New Orleans QB Drew Brees was named to adorn the cover of the popular video games box. Brees shock off any notion of the Madden Curse associated with the player making the cover of the game’s box.
