Walker Texas Rangers Roundhouse Rays
(No Rants)With a roundhouse kick to the head that would make Chuck Norris proud, the Texas Rangers pummeled Wade Davis and the Tampa Bay Rays Friday night. The Rays got off to an early 4-0 lead only to watch as Texas hung nine on the scoreboard by the time the dust settled at the end of the 4th inning. Rangers 1B Justin Smoak entered the night batting under .200 but finished 3-3, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI’s and a 409 foot blast to right field. Former Rays OF Josh Hamilton turned in another great performance as well, going 3-4 with a homerun, keeping his BA right at an even .300. Rays SP Wade Davis looked as if he was throwing batting practice for the Rangers and was chased from the game after 3.1 innings surrendering 9 hits and 8 earned runs. On Saturday...
