Published reports state the Bulls will make Boston Celtics associate head coach Tom Thibodeau the team’s 18th head coach in team history. He will be asked to take a young core of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to places Vinny Del Negro failed to go. Del Negro recorded an 82-82 record in two seasons in Chicago before being axed after the team’s first round loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
