Izzo meets with Spartans about NBA job interviews
(No Rants)Last week a source told me Tom Izzo was in Chicago interviewing for the Bull’s head coaching job. The Bull’s management and Izzo had discussions, but obviously since Tom Thibodeau was hired, they couldn’t make a deal. Now Izzo’s name is being brought up in Cleveland for the Cavaliers job. Izzo is scheduled to meet with MSU to discuss if he is leaving for another job or going to stay a Spartan. He has been at MSU since 1983. Like I said last week, this is just human nature. He has conquered everything he can in at MSU. Sure, he said he wasn’t leaving till he won another NCAA championship, but a lot of people say one thing and do another.
