Spartans Looking To Surprise in 2010
(No Rants)Michigan State always has competitive teams in every sport. The football team has been on the brink of becoming a really good program over the last couple years, and 2010 may be their year. Head Coach Mark Dantonio stated that, “I think we have a pretty good football team coming back.†I believe him. He has 16 returning starters and a very favorable schedule to make a run this season. Kirk Cousins will be the man to run the Spartan offense this season. He was clearly the better quarterback in the spring game as he outplayed Junior Keith Nichol. Cousins had a very good freshman year. He was 198-328 for 2,680 yards and 19 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions. If he keeps improving, he has the potential to be an All-Big Ten quarterback...
