(No Rants)What’s more traditional than baseball and hot dogs during the 4th of July. Well, what’s unnatural about that duo is the hot dog eating contest, which was aired on ESPN earlier today. Scandal has rocked the competitive eating world this afternoon as now 4 time hot dog downing champ Joey Chestnut called out 6 time champion Takeru Kobayashi in post game interviews. “If he were a man, he’d have been up here today”, Chestnut told the ESPN reporters after downing a paltry 54 dogs in 10 minutes. Last season, Chestnut throated 68 dogs in the allotted 10 minutes, setting the World Record.
