Pat Tillman has been called several things while playing football, he was also called a war hero when he enlisted in the United States Army after the 9/11 attacks, foregoing his NFL career.

He played three season with the Arizona Cardinals before enlisting and was a fan favorite.

In April of 2004, he was gunned down and killed by friendly fire and the Arizona community lost one of their sons. It was a rough time and the NFL honored Tillman by having his jersey number on the back of all player helmets.

Now, the College Football Hall of Fame has honored Tillman by inducting him, a prestigious honor that many wish Tillman was still around to accept.
