On a day where Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall was receiving criticism for controversial messages posted on his Twitter account, it appears Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher is also making headlines for some of his recent tweets–only not as controversial.

Oher used Twitter on Tuesday to express his frustrations regarding ESPN’s Todd McShay–criticizing the football analyst for his perspective on players and their character issues. After watching last week’s draft, it’s clear Oher was bothered by what McShay had to say about some of the players from this year’s class and their so-called “character” issues.

“Ok im so tired of the Character issues they are puttiing on ppl!” Oher posted on his Twitter account Tuesday . “What Character issues?!? Somebody tell me? . . . I never got in trouble with the Law . . . yes sir no sir guy . . .But this Todd Mcshay guy acts if he knows ppl on a personal level get real!”

Of course, Oher didn’t stop there as he sent a few messages McShay’s way about the issue.

“What if someone was to talk about your son…and he had character issues!! That’s how my family felt.”

“And I respect Mel Kiper way more then I respect you…your a joke!!”

Once again, Twitter brings out the best in athletes when it comes to saying things they may end up regretting later. Apparently, Oher must have deleted the messages ever since he started making headlines since they are no longer listed on his main Twitter page.

However, just because Oher deleted the posts sent to McShay doesn’t mean they still can’t be viewed. If McShay didn’t have anything negative to say about Oher before–he certainly has material to use now.
