College Basketball: New Rankings Belong To The Big Ten
The new College Basketball rankings came out yesterday, with a new #1 team at the top in the Syracuse Orangemen. The big upset this weekend happened down in Bloomington, Indiana when the Hoosiers took down the then #1 Kentucky Wildcats. This statement win propelled the Indiana Hoosiers into the top 25 for the first time since 2008. The Big Ten now has six teams in the top 25, which is tied with the Big East for the most teams ranked. Besides the biggest result from Indiana over the weekend, probably right behind them was Michigan State’s win at #22 Gonzaga. The performance by Draymond Green was truley a dominating one. The senior stepped up with a career high 34 points to propel Michigan State into the top 25. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan round out the other four teams in the rankings. The Big Ten season opener is just around the corner, and it looks like we are going to be in for another great and competitive season.
