Patriots Offensive Coordinator Bill O’Brien to Coach Penn State

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen’s sources, New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien will be the next head coach at Penn State. O’Brien will continue his duties as offensive coordinator for the Patriots until the end of the season. O’Brien has been an NFL and College assistant since 1993, coaching at Brown, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Duke, and New England. He will take over Penn State after one of the darkest seasons in college football history. The official announcement is rumored to be on Saturday.
