Video: Roscoe Smith Half Court Shot With Time Left On Clock

Roscoe Smith did it again. The UCONN player launched a desperation heave while there was still plenty of time left on the clock. UCONN had a chance to cut Iowa State’s lead to single digits before half as Smith stole the ball with about six seconds left. Instead of dribbling in closer, Smith launched a half court shot with 4.2 seconds on the clock and it wasn’t even close.
This isn’t the first time that Smith has done this. Remember last year against Texas? Smith did the exact same thing. These are the things that will force Jim Calhoun into an early retirement.
For those who don’t remember, here’s the Texas heave. There was 11 seconds left when Smith launched that.
