New Mexico Blows Past No. 11 UNLV

The New Mexico Lobos are having a terrific season and if they are looking to be March bound, the Lobos certainly gave themselves a big win on their tournament resume with 65-45 win at home.
New Mexico was led by Drew Gordon.
Gordon had a monster game against the Rebels. He scored 27 points and grabbed 20 rebounds as well and helped New Mexico outscore UNLV 39-18 in the second half.
With the win, New Mexico moves to 22-4 on the season and are currently ranked 30th in the RPI standings. They are 4-2 against the RPI Top 50 which will give them some reassurance when the brackets get released in March.
