No. 18 Indiana Delivers Upset To No. 5 Michigan State
The No. 18 Indiana Hoosiers pulled off a huge upset in Big Ten Conference play Tuesday night as they took care of the No. 5 Michigan State Spartans 70-55.
Indiana had four players in double digits of scoring. Cody Zeller was leading the Hoosier team with 18 points and four rebounds in 32 minutes of play. Christian Watford scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the game.
Indiana, however, failed to contain Draymond Green of Michigan State. Green led all scorers with 29 points and eight rebounds. Green was the only Spartan in double figures though.
Michigan State’s 13 turnovers also contributed to the loss.
With the win, Michigan State falls to 13-4 in Big Ten play. They still lead Ohio State and Michigan and could clinch the outright title by the end of the week.
