Dear Santa, It never snows in Miami, and there aren’t many houses with fireplaces, but if you could find your way down to south Florida, here is the Miami Dolphins wish list. 1. A new quarterback. He doesn’t have to be Dan Marino 2.0, but if he was close that would be great. Miami needs [...]

Dolphins loss to Bills hurts deep

Really?! Are you kidding me? The Buffalo Bills of all teams were the ones who ended Miami’s hopes of a postseason berth on Sunday. The same Bills who are 4-10 and vying for the coveted Andrew Luck prize next April. Those Bills beat the Dolphins 17-14 on Sunday. A ‘Fins team that had four missed [...]

Dolphins and Jets are a great rivalry

What better way for the Dolphins and Jets to face off then in December, with playoff hopes on the line. Miami has to win on Sunday. It is do-or-die for the Dolphins. For the New York Jets, a loss to the ‘Fins would put them two games out of the AFC East lead and pretty [...]

At 6-5, the Miami Dolphins did themselves a favor with a big conference win, but there is a lot of work to do. Basically it comes down to winning out for Miami. There are five games left and 11-5 may be the only way the Dolphins get in. The AFC East and North will be [...]

Dolphins welcome back trio of starters

Filed: 29th Nov 10 3:55 pm by

It was a good sign to see for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday – too bad it might be too late. Chad Henne can play quarterback, and he finally showed flashes worth that second round pick years ago. Henne, coming off an injury and benching, made great throws and never lost the game for the [...]

Miami loses Pennington, maybe Henne

Filed: 15th Nov 10 4:36 pm by

Ugh. That was quick. Well the Chad Pennington era lasted all of two passes. Chad Henne lasted about two quarters. So much for a quarterback controversy. The Titans took care of that by killing the both of them. Thanks? The funniest part about the Henne injury, not that the injury was funny, but it was [...]

Trio of Miami moves send out shockwaves

Filed: 11th Nov 10 6:05 am by

Okay, so they aren’t Randy Moss-type shockwaves, but Miami’s moves this week were huge. First off, Chad Pennington is taking over as the starter. No need to toot my own horn, but I CALLED IT!!! The Chad Henne era is dead, put a fork in it, it’s D-O-N-E. If Miami fails to make the playoffs [...]

The Chad Henne era is just about over. Chad Pennington will start this week against the Tennessee Titans. It is the second big move for the ‘Fins today. Al Harris was also signed and Jason Allen released. More on my thoughts on both of these tomorrow here.

Miami Dolphins sign Al Harris

It’s being reported that former Green Bay Packer Al Harris has signed with the Miami Dolphins. The dreaded-one, dread-locked that is, has replaced has lingering draft bust of Miami’s. In order to make room for Harris, the Dolphins released former first round pick Jason Allen. Allen started at the beginning of the season and made [...]

Miami needs to go get Randy Moss

Got you to look didn’t it! Well, I could be crazy on this one, or crazy like a fox. Yes, Moss has well-publicized character issues and seems to be slowing falling off the deep end, but wouldn’t another 6-foot-3 or however tall he is receiver be great for the redzones – where Miami just can’t [...]
