Report: Starlin Castro Accused of Sexual Assault
Starlin Castro had a breakout year as the shortstop of the Chicago Cubs. However, he finds himself in hot water as CBS Chicago is reporting that Castro is wanted for questioning in a sexual assault case. A woman is accusing Castro of sexually assaulting her after a night of drinking that occurred in late September.
The victim claims that she went back to Castro’s apartment and blacked out. She then woke up to Castro assaulting her. No charges have been filed, but he is wanted for questioning in this case.
Castro is innocent until proven guilty, so we will have to see how this plays out. Either way, it is not good to see the young star from the North Side involved in a story such as this. The Cubs have been making a lot of positive moves the last couple of weeks and this brings a cloud of uncertainty to the team.
