Prince Fielder Turned Down Deal From Los Angeles Dodgers

Prince Fielder signed a mega deal with the Detroit Tigers this offseason but he was close to signing with a few other teams. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles were also contenders to sign the first baseman.

According to CBSSports.com’s Jon Heyman, the Dodgers finished second in the running for Fielder while the Orioles came in third.

In January, Heyman reported that the Dodgers offered Fielder a seven-year, $160 million contract, but ultimately it was turned down.
