Chicago White Sox Set 25 Man Roster

The Chicago White Sox have set their opening day roster.  The White Sox will have 8 new faces that were not there when they opened in 2011.

The starting pitchers will lineup in this order; John Danks, Jake Peavy, Gavin Floyd, Chris Sale and Phil Humber.  The bullpen will consist of veterans Matt Thornton, Jesse Crain and Will Ohman to go with youngsters Addison Reed, Hector Santiago, Zach Stewart and Nathan Jones.

The infield will have catchers AJ Pierzynski and Tyler Flowers, first baseman Paul Konerko, second baseman Gordon Beckham, shortstop Alexei Ramirez and third baseman Brent MorelEduardo Escobar and Brent Lillibridge will also help out all over the infield.

The outfield has 3 newcomers with the starters being Alejandro De Aza, Alex Rios and Dayan Viciedo with Kosuke Fukudome being the reserve at all three positions.

Adam Dunn will be the DH as he vows to be the Comeback Player of the Year in the MLB.
