Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose appeared in a new Adidas commercial meant to promote his latest shoe, the d rose 2. Now why would that be controversial? The advertisement supposedly depicts bullfighting.
In the ad, Rose enters a bullfighting arena, seemingly to engage in a fight. Fortunately, he does not fight the commercial and eventually ends the one-minute ad by finishing off a vicious dunk and grinning before the spot ends.
I am not condoning the sick “sport” that is bullfighting, however the commercial does not depict any bullfighting scenes, instead showing Rose in an arena.
My take on the situation is that the ad is not violent, and therefore is should not be judged as such, although I do respect your opinion, no matter what it is.
