The NBA lockout is getting on fans and players nerves. Just yesterday, David Stern was pointing toward NBA players in a meeting before Dwayne Wade snapped back at him in the middle of a heated discussion, “Don’t you point your finger at me. I’m not your child.” Honestly, an agreement between both parties does not seem likely at this current moment. Now I’m getting a little antsy.
Kevin Durant will be a Chicago Bull someday, I believe. His relationship with Derrick Rose is widely known. The two became even closer last year during the FIBA World Championships where the USA dominated from start to finish. It was really the Durant and Rose show from the start. People had an opportunity to witness how well the two superstars worked together and got to imagine, if only for a moment, what that combo would do to the rest of the NBA.
The fallout between Russell Westrbook and Kevin Durant was widely publicized during last season’s playoffs. If you watched the playoffs, you obviously saw the tension straining their relationship right in front of our eyes on T.V. Can you imagine if Durant actually gets sick of Russ trying to steal the spotlight from him, justifiably so, and leaves Oklahoma City for Chicago? Bulls fans are clamoring for a combo that would combat the Heat’s trifecta and renew hope of another Chicago dynasty.
