Video: Carriers Struggle to Get Soccer Player Off Field on Stretcher Before Falling on Injured Leg
A player is supposed to trust staff members to carry them off whenever suffering an injury in a game that prevents them from walking off the field on their own. As for one soccer player, he was the victim of an incompetent group of carriers that made his injury even worse.
Brooks Peck of Yahoo! Sports provided the video above of a player that was injured during a matchup between Academico de Viseu and Sanjoanense from the Portuguese third division. Not only do the carriers struggle when it comes to figuring out a way to pick up the injured player on the stretcher, but one of them managed to fall on the injured player’s leg as well–which couldn’t have been fun to deal with.
While injuries are never fun to joke about, it’s difficult not to laugh when watching this video. Honestly–who would hire a group of guys like this to take care of injured players?
