Video: High School Football Player Leaps Into the End Zone From the Five-Yard Line to Score Touchdown
This past weekend was filled with plenty of exciting football highlights from both the NFL and the NCAA–especially the game-winning Hail Mary touchdown pass by Michigan State to hand Wisconsin their first loss of the 2011 season. However, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any exciting highlights from the high school level.
The video above shows Kimlon “KJ” Dillon of Apopka (Fla.) High pulling off one of the best touchdown leaps from a high school player in a game against West Orange (Fla.) High after taking a reverse handoff and leaping from the five-yard line to find the end zone. The 6’2″ Dillon knew that he would most likely fall short of the end zone by staying on the ground considering there were three defenders heading towards him and decided the best way to score was by leaping through the air–which obviously worked out perfect.
Obviously, Dillon very talented when it comes to football and any college that manages to bring him on board will be getting one heck of an athlete. In fact, Dillon has drawn interest from numerous big-name schools such as West Virginia, Arkansas, Clemson, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, and Miami (Fla.).
If he’s pulling off plays like this in high school–imagine what Dillon can do when he starts playing at the college level. Thanks to Cameron Smith of Yahoo! Sports for the video and information for the article.

Where’s his cape!?
Nice, but did you see his head? He could have easily broke his neck.
I think Michigan badly needs some few talents to recover 4 years of embarrassmeent. Beside this young man’s school is having a similar helmet as the giant of the Big 10. He should consider joining them.
