During Saturday’s game against New Mexico State, Georgia tight end Aron White’s six-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Aaron Murray was just one of six touchdowns in the second quarter for the Bulldogs as they went on to beat the Aggies 63-16. However, White’s touchdown may have been the most impressive catch of the game not because of how he did it, but what happened after.
The video above shows White struggling to slow down after catching the touchdown pass from White as he was forced to leap into the hedges at Georgia’s stadium to avoid running into two xylophones on the sidelines that belonged to the band. What’s even more funny about the incident is White needed assistance from teammates and staff members just to get pulled out of the hedges before he could actually celebrate the touchdown.
It was a nice catch, but it was White’s leap into the hedges that made this touchdown memorable and there’s a good chance it will earn him a spot in the “Top 10″ on Sportscenter this weekend. Thanks to Yahoo! Sports for providing the video above.
