Where would the Arizona Cardinals be this season without rookie cornerback Patrick Peterson? After Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams, the first-round pick is now responsible for the game-winning touchdowns in each of his teams two wins for the 2011 season
The video above shows Peterson making a spectacular 99-yard punt return for a touchdown to give the Cardinals their second win of the 2011 season and their first since Week 1. Not only did Peterson break numerous tackles, but he managed to stay on his feet following a ridiculous spin move that involved him running backwards before running free down the right sideline.
Peterson has been decent as a cornerback so far with Arizona, but it’s clear his true value is on special teams considering how dangerous he is as a punt returner. Thanks to Bro Bible for the video above.
