Video: Penn State and Nebraska Gather For Prayer Circle Before Saturday’s Game
With everything that has happened this week, Saturday’s matchup between Nebraska and Penn State will go down as one of the most emotional games ever played. Whether you’re a player, member of the coaching staff, or simply just a die-hard fan, the Penn State community is torn over the firing of Joe Paterno because of the sexual abuse allegations against Jerry Sandusky.
The video above shows members of Penn State and Nebraska gathering together in the middle of Beaver Stadium before the game to participate in an emotional prayer circle for everything that’s happened over the last few days. Despite everything that has happened, you have to remember the current players on the team have nothing to do with the allegations and playing in today’s game has to be difficult for them to participate in without their beloved head coach.
