Jay Cutler: Cat Lover?
I don’t think anything else needs to be said. In one of the more candid shots you will see, the Bears quarterback is definitely showing his softer side…no pun intended.
Last season after the NFC Championship Game fiasco with Jay, this picture was released. I believe it is demonstrating Mr. Cutler as p—-cat. I think the Cosby sweater really does Cutler justice. He can pull it off with the best of them.
I place Jay Cutler in the same category as Phil Rivers. They are both extremely talented individuals with mass upside for their careers…However, for some reason they just come off the wrong way to most people. I have never seen as much hatred, as I have seen in the last year for Phil Rivers and Jay Cutler.
Rivers is more of a precise, low risk kind of guy who makes smart decisions. He has not made many smart decisions thus far in 2011.
Cutler on the other hand is a gunslinger. He reminds people of Favre’s never say die attitude, alongside the arm strength of John Elway. Sadly, at times it seems like Jay has the brains of Ryan Leaf or Rex Grossman. His decision making has been questioned his entire career. Could 2011 finally be the year Cutler gets some respect?
Every season but this current one Cutler has had to learn a new playbook. This is the first season he hasn’t had to learn a new offense during the off-season and it’s showing up with his low interception rate. No matter if you’re a cat or dog lover, how can you not love this photo of a guy you love to hate?
