Unless you’ve been under a rock, you have definitely heard about the sickening story of Jerry Sandusky molesting multiple children both as an assistant coach at Penn State University and after his retirement.
For the first time since the allegations that indicted Sandusky on 40 counts of child abuse, Sandusky spoke with NBC’s Bob Costas.
This is a great interview by Costas, and a horrible one for Sandusky, who admits to “horse play” and “showering with kids after workouts.”
He does indicate that he is innocent of all charges and that he is not a pedophile. Right. Hear the interview for yourself here.
Having read the full Grand Jury report on this matter it’s hard to take anything Sandusky says seriously. There are eight victims with fully detailed accounts of abuse that seem to give Sandusky no chance to prove his innocence.
This was an ill advised interview on Sandusky’s part; it seems only his lawyer (who impregnated a 16-year old at 49) believes his side of the story.
